SIM Philadelphia & PHISIM Foundation

Roundtable Discussion benefitting PHISIM Foundation

October 5th, 2021 from 5 to 8pm Eastern at Rosemont College

SIM Philadelphia and the PHISIM Foundation have arranged an enlightening evening focused on thought leadership in today’s disruptive climate.  We are thrilled that this will be our first in-person chapter meeting and equally thrilled to be hosted by Rosemont College from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

After an hour-long cocktails and networking session, we transition to roundtable discussions across six to eight table topics where these small groups can deep dive into the topics.  As we have navigated the pandemic, we’ve learned that smaller groups allow for the best connections, so we are targeting tables of 8-10 people for discussions and dinner.

Each table will have a facilitator who may be a sponsor of the event.  We invite our sponsors to lead roundtable discussions to showcase their thought leadership and expertise.  Sponsors may also choose to have a customer or guest CIO lead the discussion. Attendees can choose which topics are of interest to them, so you'll know the folks at your table are interested in learning more about your area of expertise!

Our roundtable discussion topics can be shaped by the sponsors, but suggestions include:

  • Cybersecurity
  • Returning to the Workplace
  • Diversity Recruitment & Remote Hiring
  • Data Science & Analytics
  • Software Engineering Initiatives
  • Covid Protocols & Accommodations
  • AI/Machine Learning/RPA in the Real World
  • Future Thinking & Disruption

As this event is promoted to all SIM Philadelphia members (~300) and PHISIM Foundation supporters, as well as our alliance partners, and it’s our first in-person meeting, we expect a great audience and for our sponsor spots to sell out!!!

All proceeds will benefit the PHISIM Foundation which annually provides tens of thousands of dollars in college scholarships to Philadelphia technology students, thousands of dollars in technology equipment to Philadelphia elementary schools, and $5,000 in funding a Teen Tech Camp each summer. PHISIM Foundation members also provide mentoring to IT students at all levels throughout the year.

Our Sponsor package costs $2,000 and includes: One representative per sponsored table. Logos and write ups for each sponsor will be shared via email and social media to all attendees. Sponsoring companies will be included in our #SIMOutreachDifferenceMakers social media campaign. Marketing collateral can be shared at the table, but the real value is in the networking and the connections you’ll make at your table. Sponsors will also be given a list of attendees not just for their topic, but for the whole event.

Once your sponsorship is processed, you'll be contacted for your topic and your company's social media handles. If you have any questions, please contact the PHISIM Sponsorship Chair, Kristen Lamoreaux at Kristen@LamoreauxSearch.com

Thank you!  Your support will make a difference to Philadelphia students!
